Printmaking Fellowships

Australian Print Workshop is grateful for the generous support that has made it possible to grant Fellowships to leading contemporary Australian artists. These Fellowships offer opportunities to work in collaboration with APW Printers in the creation of major bodies of work in the print medium. Works created through these Fellowship programs can be found in national and international collections.

Over many years, The Collie Print Trust has supported the prestigious APW Collie Print Trust Printmaking Fellowship. This program facilitates an extraordinary opportunity for invited artists to work in collaboration with APW Printers on the creation of significant work in the print medium. A remarkable group of artists have produced exceptional work under the auspices of this Fellowship program.

More recently, a bequest from the Estate of Beverley Shelton and her late husband Martin Schönthal has supported an additional annual Fellowship. The APW Beverley Shelton Artist Fellowship is an exciting new initiative supporting interstate and/or regionally based leading contemporary Australian artists to develop and extend their knowledge of the print medium.
