APW John Denton Print Award

Australian Print Workshop is delighted to announce a new print Award offering an exciting opportunity for an artist to undertake a print-based project in collaboration with APW in 2017.

Established in appreciation of John Denton’s significant contribution to APW and contemporary Australian printmaking, this Award marks John’s retirement after 20 years of service on the APW Board.

The APW John Denton Print Award honours John Denton’s commitment to supporting and encouraging contemporary Australian printmaking.

APW seeks proposals from Artists/Printmakers who would like to undertake a print-based project in the second half of 2017.

The APW John Denton Print Award recipient will be provided with a range of printmaking materials and ‘rent-free’ use of the APW Open Access Studio to undertake their project.

The Award also provides an opportunity to produce one limited edition print in collaboration with APW’s highly skilled printers, published by APW.
