The Australian Print Workshop fosters the development of printmaking as a vibrant and progressive art form. Through its annual program, the Workshop represents the very best in contemporary printmaking.

Established in 1981, over the years the Australian Print Workshop has rapidly expanded its activities, attracting many of Australia's leading artists based on its reputation for high quality work and professional support facilities.

Australian Print Workshop projects actively encourage cooperative ventures with artists and other arts and business organisations, both locally and internationally. These partnerships result in the production of new and challenging works in the print medium, maintaining for the Workshop a reputation that is acknowledged worldwide.

The Australian Print Workshop is recognised as a key authority on contemporary Australian printmaking. It is a 'not-for-profit' organisation that receives support from a range of sources including state and federal government arts funding agencies, charitable foundations, corporate sponsors and numerous individuals. Works produced at the Australian Print Workshop are represented in all major Australian public art gallery and museum collections.

• PRINTSTORE
  Australian Print Workshop offers a comprehensive selection of limited edition prints for sale online through its Printstore. The range of prints includes works by contemporary Australian artists who have worked at APW.
   
  
• PROJECTS
  Australian Print Workshop undertakes innovative Projects to further develop the art form of printmaking including: continuing Partnerships with Indigneous Artists, Special Projects, International Projects, Commissions and Scholarships.
   
  
• CUSTOM PRINTING WORKSHOP
  Australian Print Workshop Custom Printing Workshop provides artists with an opportunity to produce limited edition prints in collaboration with APW printers using the Workshop's world-class facilities and equipment.
   
  
• ACCESS STUDIO
  Australian Print Workshop Access Studio offers artists access to a range of professional printmaking equipment and facilities at a modest rental.
   
  
• EDUCATION PROGRAM
  Australian Print Workshop conducts a comprehensive Education Program including: Printmaking Classes, Summer School and Guided Tours.
   
  
• EXHIBITIONS
  Australian Print Workshop Gallery mounts regular exhibitions of prints made at the APW, as well as curating and organising Exhibitions at Other Venues.
